In 2026 Zurich Insurance offers six health insurance plans for UAE residents, Futura being their most comprehensive, with both death and living benefits available. Futura starts at USD $150/month. Zurich plans can be as low as $9/month, such as YourLife.

Health Plans Offered by Zurich Insurance in the UAE

Zurich Insurance provides two Term Assurance plans, a Critical Illness Protection plan, YourLife and YourCare plans, and their comprehensive Futura plan for expats in the UAE.

Critical Illness Protection Plan

Zurich’s Critical Illness Protection plan pays a lump sum if you are diagnosed with one of the 34 approved serious illnesses within your five- to 35-year term. Conditions that are covered include cancer, stroke, paralysis, heart attack, and organ failure.

Any individual covered must be 69 years or younger at the end of the policy term.

International Term Assurance Plan (ITA)

Zurich’s International Term Assurance plan (ITA) is a life insurance policy with a fixed coverage amount. If you pass away during the term of your policy, you receive a predetermined lump sum.

International Decreasing Term Assurance Plan (IDTA)

Zurich’s International Decreasing Term Assurance plan (IDTA) provides a lump sum payout upon death. The amount decreases over time according to the rate you choose. The amount you owe also decreases over time.

YourLife Plan

YourLife is a Zurich term life insurance plan for 5, 10, or 15 years that pays a lump sum to your beneficiary between AED 200,000 and AED 1,000,000 (about USD $54,000 to $272,000) in the event you pass away during the policy term.

The insured individual must be a UAE resident between the ages of 18 and 49.

YourLife life insurance has three tiers:

  1. Essential: Includes life coverage from AED 200,000 to AED 1,000,000 (about USD $54,000 to $272,000).
  2. Plus: Includes the Essential benefits and adds an extra 50% of payment in the event of your accidental death.
  3. Complete: Includes Plus coverage and adds an extra 50% of coverage for death caused by airplane accidents.

YourCare Plan

YourCare is a Zurich serious illness insurance plan for 5 or 10 years that pays your beneficiary either AED 200,000, AED 500,000, or AED 1,000,000 in the event you are diagnosed with cancer.

The insured individual must be a UAE resident between the ages of 18 and 49.

YourCare insurance has three tiers:

  1. Essential: Covers cancer plus a second medical opinion, child cancer of AED 50,000, and funeral cover of AED 20,000.
  2. Plus: Includes Essential benefits plus the 10 most common critical illnesses, such as heart attack or stroke.
  3. Complete: Includes Plus benefits and a hospitalization benefit.

Futura Life Insurance Plan

Futura is Zurich Insurance’s most comprehensive life insurance available that offers a lump sum payout upon your death and optional living benefits such as critical illness, disability, and dismemberment. Over your lifetime you can adjust this plan.

Costs of Zurich Insurance for Expats in the UAE

The cost of Zurich Insurance health plans ranges from USD $9 to $150 monthly (AED 33 to 550). Zurich’s YourLife plan can cost as low as USD $9/month (AED 33). Their Critical Illness Protection plan starts at a minimum of USD $25/month (AED 88).
